Kylie is active in Show Choir as well as Varsity Choir at her school and just returned from the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, GA with the Senior Company from Plaza Academy where they won an Outstanding Production award as well as the Freddy G. Its recreation in 1965 starring Lesley Ann. Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. at Theatre Arlington as well as Susan Waverly in WHITE CHRISTMAS, Young Elsa in FROZEN JR, and the Ghost of Christmas Past in CHRISTMAS CAROL at PlazaCo. The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. Some of her favorite roles include Junie B Jones in JUNIE B JONES JR. The timeless fairy tale is reborn with originality, charm, and elegance in this classic musical with a modern twist. Kylie is excited to perform this wonderful show with such a talented cast! Kylie was last seen in Elf the Musical at Plaza Theatre Company and has performed other roles such as Pollyanna in POLYANNA, Matilda Wormwood in MATILDA THE MUSICAL and Carrie Ingalls in LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, all at PlazaCo. In what little free time she has, Jorilyn enjoys ballroom dancing, reading, singing and playing softball.
She stays very busy as a sign language interpreter, a wife, mother, and college student. You may have seen her recently in her all-time favorite roll of Maid Marian here in Plaza’s SHERWOOD: THE ADVERTURES OF ROBIN HOOD. In 2019 she came back to the stage and performed in the show ELF at Artisan Theater and ever since then has loved getting back into the theater world. However, she took a break from theater to attend college, pursue her career, get married and have two beautiful children. Super excited to be returning to the Plaza stage, Jorilyn is happy to get a chance to be in one of the beloved Disney classics of the CINDERELLA story! She enjoyed being involved in little church plays/musicals as a child and loved acting in high school and college as well.
